A cookie is a small record file a website leaves in your browser. Some cookies are required for the page to work; others help remember how you use the site. We do not present the two as if they were the same thing.
Which cookies are on this site?
The table below clearly separates the current approach on the WYN site from categories that may be used in future. Nothing is assumed to be in place merely because it appears on the list before it is actually added.
| Kategori | Ne işe yarar? | Durum / süre |
|---|---|---|
| Zorunlu | Security, session, or the requested service working technically. | Active if needed; for the session or the necessary duration. |
| Tercih | To remember language, appearance or a site preference you chose before. | Explained separately when English support is launched. |
| Analitik | To see which pages work and where performance problems are, in aggregate statistics. | Not active by default; requires a preference. |
| Pazarlama | To measure advertising or show personalised ads on different sites. | Not active on the WYN site. |
The difference between a required and an optional cookie
A record used for a security check when submitting a project form cannot be put in the same basket as a record used for ad targeting. Disabling a required cookie can break the basic function of the page; an optional cookie can be rejected while the site keeps working.
That is why, whenever we use a non-required technology such as analytics, advertising or personalisation, we present “accept” and “reject” options visibly and clearly. You must also be able to change your choice later.
External resources and third parties
The site’s fonts, some JavaScript libraries or similar technical assets may load from external sources such as a CDN. During those requests the provider may see standard network data such as IP address, browser information and the requested file’s timing. That does not mean WYN builds advertising profiles on your behalf; still, reducing external sources and serving assets from our own server where possible is good practice.
How can you manage cookies?
You can delete cookies, ask to be warned before new cookies are set, or block optional cookies from your browser’s privacy settings. If you disable some required records, features such as menus, forms or security checks may not work as expected.
If you want to reach us about your cookie preferences you can write through ourContact page.
